Taylor + Josh | Riverbend Park Engagement Session in Jupiter, Florida
Taylor and Josh’s February engagement session at Riverbend Park in Jupiter was such an easy one from the start.
It was overcast that afternoon, which ended up working in our favor because the light stayed really soft. Riverbend already has such a pretty mix of open fields, tall dry grass, huge oak trees, and Spanish moss, so the cloudy sky gave everything a softer look without taking away from all of those warm colors.
Taylor started the session in a rust, red dress and later changed into an orange sweater and jeans, while Josh kept it classic in navy. I especially love looking back at their outfits now because those same warm orange and rust tones ended up being part of their wedding colors later on at Lady Jean Ranch in Jupiter, Florida.
Taylor and Josh were giggly and sweet with each other the entire time, and those are always the sessions I love most because nothing feels forced. It was also really special getting to photograph their engagement session knowing I would later photograph their wedding too. Engagement sessions are such a nice way for us to get to know each other before the wedding day, and by the time their wedding came around, they already knew what it felt like to be in front of my camera.
